🙏 K chaa?
It’s Amrit and in this issue of Oxygen Mag, we talk about the streets where I grew up. That’s Kathmandu, Nepal. By the way “k chaa?” is a popular informal greeting in Nepal. It means “what’s up?” Today I’ve handpicked stories and resources that will get you up to speed about the air pollution in Nepal.
Despite being one of the poorest countries in the world, Nepal is quite remarkable. 1) It’s a very progressive country when it comes to transgender rights. 2) Nepal currently has a women president. 3) Honking is banned in Kathmandu, and 4) an effort in underway to discourage jaywalking with USD $2 fines.
Love clean air? Please tell the person sitting next to you right now about Oxygen Mag. And, share this on (1) Twitter (2) LinkedIn, or (3) via a quick e-mail.
